Hummingbird Serving Bowl
This serving bowl is 10 inches wide by 4 inches tall and features a wax-resist hummingbird decoration. Wax is applied to the hummingbird so it keeps the glaze from sticking. When it’s fired, the wax burns away so it shows the bare clay. Like most items on our site, this is made when you order so expect some variation in size and glazing.

SOLD - This pitcher stands 10.5 inches tall and easily holds 2 qts. It features carved vines and flowers with “wax resist” butterflies. In this method wax is painted on the pot before glazing so that it does not adhere to the waxed areas. The wax burns away in the kiln and leaves the bare clay showing.
